If you search “buy MikroTik Dubai” you get three kinds of seller: the master distributor, resellers who buy from that distributor, and grey-market listings shipped in from outside the GCC. They can all show the same model number at very different prices. This guide explains the difference, what each one costs you in practice, and how to check that the box you receive is genuine, warrantied and supported in the UAE.
The three places MikroTik comes from in the UAE
The master distributor. MikroTik appoints a small number of official distributors per region. In the UAE that is High Speed Dimension Technologies in Bur Dubai. Stock arrives directly from MikroTik in Latvia, every unit is registered, and the distributor is the one who handles RMA (warranty replacement) for the whole country. When a reseller has a faulty unit, it comes back to us.
Authorised resellers. Computer shops in Al Fahidi, Deira and Al Rigga, IT companies and system integrators buy from the distributor and sell on with their own margin. They are legitimate and often convenient, and the warranty is still valid because the unit came through the official channel. You simply pay one extra layer of margin, and for RMA they bring it back to us.
Grey market. Units bought cheaply in other regions and shipped to the UAE through marketplaces or unofficial importers. They are usually real MikroTik hardware, but they were never sold for this market. That matters for two reasons covered below: warranty and firmware locking.
What each option really costs
| Where you buy | Price | Warranty in UAE | Stock depth | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Master distributor | Lowest in the channel | Full, handled locally | Hundreds of units per model | ISPs, integrators, offices, resellers |
| Authorised reseller | Distributor price + margin | Full, via the distributor | A few units | One-off retail purchases nearby |
| Grey market import | Sometimes lower, often not after shipping and customs | None in the UAE | Unpredictable | Nothing that matters |
On the popular models the distributor price is already the floor. Today a MikroTik hEX RB750Gr3 gigabit router is AED 219, a hAP ax3 WiFi 6 router is AED 518, and a CCR2004-16G-2S+ Cloud Core Router is AED 1,668, all with a UAE VAT invoice. A grey import has to beat those numbers after freight, customs duty and VAT at the border, and still has no local warranty.
Why grey-market MikroTik is a bad deal even when it is cheaper
No UAE warranty. MikroTik warranty is honoured by the distributor for the region the unit was sold into. A router bought for another market has no RMA path here; if it fails, you buy another one.
Regional firmware. MikroTik ships wireless products with a country lock in RouterOS. A unit sold for another region can have channels and transmit power limits that do not match UAE regulations, which is a compliance problem for any ISP or business installation that gets inspected.
No support. When a configuration is not working at 2 am before a client handover, the distributor’s engineers will pick up the phone for their customers. A marketplace seller will not.
How to check the MikroTik you are buying is genuine
- Ask for the VAT invoice with a UAE TRN on it. Grey sellers rarely issue one.
- Check the serial number on the label against the one shown in RouterOS under System > Routerboard. They must match.
- Look at the RouterOS licence level. A hEX ships with Level 4, a CCR with Level 6. A lower level than the spec sheet says means the board is not what the label claims.
- Ask where RMA goes. A legitimate UAE seller can tell you exactly which distributor handles the warranty. If the answer is vague, walk away.
- Buy from a seller with a physical address you can visit. Our shop is at Al Rais 1 Building, Shop G03, Bur Dubai. You can collect, test and pay at the counter.

Frequently asked questions
Who is the MikroTik distributor in the UAE?
High Speed Dimension Technologies LLC in Bur Dubai is the MikroTik master distributor for the UAE, supplying resellers and end customers across all seven emirates with genuine stock and local warranty handling.
Is it cheaper to buy MikroTik from a distributor or a reseller?
The distributor price is the lowest in the channel because resellers buy at that price and add their margin. Buying direct also gives you the deepest stock and direct warranty handling.
Can I buy MikroTik online in Dubai with cash on delivery?
Yes. highspeed-store.com offers cash on delivery, card and Apple Pay, with free delivery across the UAE and same-working-day dispatch for orders placed before 2 pm.
Does MikroTik bought abroad work in the UAE?
The hardware works, but it carries no UAE warranty and wireless models may have regional channel settings that do not match UAE regulations. For any business or ISP deployment, buy stock sold for this market.
