The rest of the system
Switching. Every access point is powered over its ethernet cable, so you need PoE switches in each riser room. A USW-24-PoE (AED 1,840) powers 16 access points; a USW-48-PoE (AED 2,358) covers a full floor of in-wall units. Our PoE switch selection guide explains the power budget maths.
Gateway and controller. The UniFi Dream Machine Pro (AED 1,898) routes the internet, runs the controller, and doubles as the camera recorder. For larger properties use the Dream Machine SE (AED 2,708) with built-in PoE and 10G uplinks.

Guest portal tip: UAE hotels commonly authenticate guests by room number and surname, pulled from the property management system, with a free tier at a fair speed and a paid premium tier.
