Core routers: the MikroTik CCR line
The Cloud Core Router is where RouterOS earns its reputation: PPPoE server, per-subscriber queues, BGP with your upstream, and dual-ISP failover, all in one box with a permanent Level 6 licence.

Between towers, a CRS328-4C-20S-4S+RM (AED 1,518) aggregates fibre and SFP+ uplinks, and a CRS328-24P-4S+RM PoE switch (AED 1,990) powers radios and cameras on the mast.
Backhaul: moving capacity between sites
For links of several kilometres carrying hundreds of megabits, Ubiquiti airFiber is the standard. The airFiber 5XHD (AED 1,679 per end) delivers a gigabit-class licensed-free link; the airFiber 4X (AED 1,478) works in the 4.9 GHz band. For shorter or lower-capacity hops, a pair of PowerBeam 5AC-620 dishes (AED 897 each, 29 dBi) or PowerBeam 5AC Gen2 (AED 529 each) is the cost-effective choice, and MikroTik’s LHG XL 5 ac grid antennas (4-pack, AED 1,587) suit long dusty links where a solid dish loads the mast.
Sector antennas: covering customers from the tower
A tower typically carries three or four sectors of 90 to 120 degrees each. MikroTik mANTBox 19s (AED 748) is an integrated 19 dBi 120-degree sector with SFP, popular because it runs RouterOS like the core. On the Ubiquiti side, the Rocket 5AC Lite (AED 500) pairs with an airMAX sector antenna, and the LiteAP LAP-120 (AED 391) is an all-in-one 120-degree sector for smaller cells.
