First: how many access points do you need?
A practical UAE rule of thumb: one access point covers roughly 100–140 m² of open office, less through concrete villa walls. Count seriously-used rooms, not square metres alone — a meeting room with 12 laptops and a TV needs its own AP even if it is small. Which one is right for your space?
Small office, shop or café — U6 Lite or U6+
For a single floor with normal laptop-and-phone use, the U6 Lite (AED 419.75) is the entry ticket into proper managed WiFi 6. For AED 50 more, the U6+ (AED 469.20) adds newer silicon and better throughput — it is the model we recommend most and we keep it in stock in Dubai.
Crowded office floors — U6 Pro
Once you pass roughly 40 active devices per AP — video calls, screen sharing, VoIP — the U6 Pro (AED 718.75) earns its price with a 4×4 radio that keeps speeds stable under load. Fewer Pros can replace more Lites in dense areas.
Outdoor terraces, villas and warehouses — U6 Mesh
The U6 Mesh (AED 724.50) is rated for indoor and outdoor use and meshes wirelessly where you cannot pull a cable — the go-to for garden majlis areas, loading bays and villa compounds.
Boardrooms, showrooms and the long term — U6 Enterprise
The U6 Enterprise (AED 1,127) adds the 6 GHz WiFi 6E band — a clean motorway for new devices in interference-heavy areas like malls and exhibition spaces. Pair it with a 2.5G PoE port to unlock its full speed.
Don’t forget the power — PoE
